Happy Weekend

I turned twenty-eight last thursday and spent the weekend celebrating. We did a family dinner
on my birthday at a resaurant that looks like a pagoda. The food was good and the scenery was beautiful, there was Koi ponds surrounding the place,so my kids had fun watching the fish. My mom had the weekend off so the girls spent the weekend at their grandparents, leaving me QT with the DH and uninterrupted reading. I finished Dead and Dateless by Kimberly Raye and started Blood Secrets by Vivi Anna. Now its Monday and back to homework and daily mommy life, its always nice to have a break though even only for a few moments.

There's A new Book Coming out March by A New Author Richelle Mead

Succubus Blues By Richelle Mead

Succubus (n) - An alluring, shape-shifting demon who seduces and pleasures mortal men.
Pathetic (adj.) - A succubus with great shoes and no social life. See: Georgina Kincaid.
When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl can be anything she wants. The wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical?
But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid’s life is far less exotic. Her boss is a middle-management demon with a thing for John Cusack movies. Her immortal best friends haven’t stopped teasing her about the time she shape-shifted into the Demon Goddess get-up complete with whip and wings. And she can’t have a decent date without sucking away part of the guy’s life. At least there’s her day job at a local bookstore—free books, all the white chocolate mochas she can drink, and easy access to bestselling, sexy writer, Seth Mortensen, aka He Whom She Would Give Anything to Touch but Can’t.
But dreaming about Seth will have to wait. Something wicked is at work in Seattle’s demon underground. And for once, all of her hot charms and drop-dead one-liners won’t help because Georgina’s about to discover there are some creatures out there that both heaven and hell want to deny…

Who's on Your Keeper Shelf?

I was on an authors Valentine chat today and we were talking about our TBR(to be read) shelves and our Keeper Shelves. I have an overflowing keeper shelf, its filled with books from,Vivi Anna,SHerrilyn Kenyon, Christine Feehan,Lori Handeland,Emma Holly, Shiloh Walker,Michelle Rowan,Gena Showalter,Lynn Viehl,Maryjanice Davidson, Rebecca York,Kresley Cole and more.It just keeps getting bigger, especially with all the new authors coming out daily writing awesome books. I was wondering if others have only a few authors on their keeper shelve or do just keep adding new ones as the days go by?

I found a new YA author

I was looking at different authors myspace pages and found and author names Frances Lynn. She has a book out called "CRUSHED", I liked the cover so I bought the e-book and it was really good. The book is based in England, so there were a few words and slang that I had to think about to get but I would reccomend it to adults and teens 12 and older. Here's the synopsis:

Door and her twin sister get along - just about. But Door has misgivings. She is tall and thin like a beanpole, her sister is petite and beautiful. How on earth can they be family? Door starts to believe she's from another planet - or else the rest of the family is from outer space.
Read the stirring saga of the ungainly sibling who suddenly turns into a beautiful swan - and the incredible secret of her birth!
