Fantastic Fives on Elizabeth Jewell

Five phrases or words that describe you:

Geeky,
sarcastic,
creative,
BUSY,
highly caffeinated

Five people and/or things that inspire you:

My kids,
music,
good TV,
Jensen Ackles,
chocolate

Five of your favorite authors:

I'm going to expand this to cover
writers in general, not just novelists:
Neil Gaiman,
Diana Gabaldon,
Joss Whedon,
the Brontes,
Erik Kripke

Describe five of your heroes/heroines of your books in your eyes:

Heath from Legacy of the Snake (Insatiable: Ellora's Cave/Pocket)--He's caught in a situation not of his own making, and is just trying to do the right thing with as much grace and humor as he can muster. Oh, and he talks to fish.

Annabeth from 6 Enchanted Princesses (Master of Secret Desires: Ellora's Cave/Pocket)--She's put herself in danger and under the power of an evil sorcerer in order to protect her sisters. When Fitz arrives on the scene, she sees the possibility of rescue. And has sex with an invisible guy.

David Fraser from Lady of the Seals (Lover from Another World: Ellora's Cave/Pocket)--A man who's fallen in love with a woman with a secret that can change his whole world. One of my favorite heroes.

Roarke and Riordan (Dark Callings series: Changeling Press)--Two strong, alpha males, one a vampire, who find love and healing with each other. Two funny, intense, sexy guys.

Keely (Pandora's People:Keely: Changeling Press)--A woman with powers even she doesn't completely understand, afraid to find love again after the death of her previous lover. But I made her do it, anyway.

Five reasons to read your books:

Because they don't suck. :-)

To spend some time away from the drudgery of everyday life. Forget the stupid dishes--read a steamy book!

The guys are hot and sometimes there are vampires.

Because it's way more fun than paying bills or vacuuming.

Because my kids need new shoes...

Oh, mine, too. And the vacuuming, and the cleaning, and the laundry... I mean come on, it's just going to get dirty again. What's the point? :-)
