Justin Kinmurrie, the Duke of Kylemore, hero of CLAIMING THE COURTESAN - dark, sensual, passionate, sexy, haughty, smart, determined, tormented, desperately in love. Tall, dark, lean and very handsome with vivid blue eyes and a beak of a nose (I have a soft spot for big noses!).

Verity Ashton/Soraya, heroine of CLAIMING THE COURTESAN - a reluctant courtesan who is tormented, tragic, divided, loving, self-sacrificing, courageous, desperately in love against her deepest instincts. Beautiful enough to stop traffic. Looks like Olivia Hussey in the Zeffirelli version of ROMEO AND JULIET.

Matthew Lansdowne, Marquess of Sheene, hero of UNTOUCHED - brave, frighteningly intelligent, complex, strong through trials that would break most men, self-deprecating, heroic, principled, desperately in love (hmm, am I picking up a thread here?). This was my first dark historical and it took me a little longer than usual to read. I ended up getting caught up in the story.Anna has strong characters that you will find easy to feel their emotions.It was a dark book because yes there was rape in it,but I felt the Duke wasn't doing it for the force of it,he did it for the passion he had for Verity.I know that sounds kind of off but once you learn these two charaters background and how hard their lives were,your sitting there rooting for these two to get over their hardships and be together. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Anna.

What are you reading?

I've got a print book and an eBook on my plate currently. Touch Me,Tease Me by C.J.England is burnin' up my computer reading with some sensual massage,this is short story but I'm taking it slow and savoring a chapter at a time. The print book is He Loves Me,He Loves Me Hot by Stephanie Rowe it has Satan's right hand assassin(Becca) and a desendant(Nick) from Satan's old right hand assassins who somehow broke away from Satan's influence. She wants to know how Nick's family broke away and he needs Becca's help with his sister,they need each other's help but I all ready see them fighting an attraction*g* This is the third book in the Immortally Sexy series and all her books are filled with great characters that make fun reads.

Camera Flaws

We went bowling for my eldest's birthday Friday night. I was going back and forth so much that I didn't even take pictures of anyone bowling. When we were doing the cake,I finally grabbed my camera and it wouldn't turn on,I thought the batteries were dead evnthough I swore I charged them them the night before.I had to have one of our friends take some pictures for me. While I was putting away my camera later I saw that the memory card door was open and hey that was the reason my camera wasn't turning on. Sometimes I have one of those doh! moments and I feel like such a dork.

A Weekend Full of Pain

I just found out a toothache could be a pain in your mouth and a pain in your pocketbook.First off, I dislike going the dentist or doctor for any reason.I hate needles,they give me the heebiegeebs(Its bad when I'm using words that usually don't come out of my mouth)but this weekend I was in pain,I had to eat very carefully.I couldn't even enjoy my meals,I kept thinking about how much it hurt to eat that I couldn't taste my food. ( I even had some chocolate and wasn't able to enjoy it :( )I finally went into the dentist office this morning to have them see what going on and they tell me I need a root canal and its going to cost me some dollars that I don't have at the moment(family budget doesn't leave room for much) so the dentist sends me off with some pain medicine and I got to go next week to get a needle stuck in my mouth. Does anyone know of any spiritual ritual that will make my tooth better?

Joanne Walker: reluctant shaman and heroine of the Walker Papers, Joanne's of Cherokee and Irish heritage and thoroughly grounded in the real world. When the mystical comes knocking, she's completely out of her league--but I think she's finding her stride. I love to write Jo, because in a lot of ways she sounds like me, which makes her easy to write...except I think she's funnier than I am, and I don't get how that happens. :)
Captain Michael Morrison: Jo's boss and her foil, Morrison likes her shamanic abilities even less than Jo herself does...but when the weird keeps coming around, he's too good a cop to deny her talents and keep her off a case. I adore Morrison. I think he's dead sexy. So does Jo, but she'd rather bite her tongue off than admit that. :)
Gary Muldoon: a 73 year old cab driver who fell into Joanne's life in the first pages of URBAN SHAMAN, Gary's become her rock. Not only willing to accept that the world is a stranger place than he imagines, Gary actively enjoys that it is--which makes him Joanne's polar opposite, and very much someone she needs around. I've gotten so many emails (including ones from my editor!) hoping that Gary and Jo might get together, and I'm like, "But he's SEVENTY-THREE!" *laughs* And now for some upcoming heroines!
Margrit Knight: Margrit Knight is a young New York City lawyer who's finally met the perfect man. Unfortunately, he's a gargoyle, and wanted for murder... Margrit's the heroine of my new urban fantasy trilogy that'll be out over the course of 2007-2008. The first book, HEART OF STONE, is due out in November, and I'm really looking forward to seeing those on the shelves. They're sexier than the Walker Papers, and Margrit's a much more focused, together person than Jo. (I bet they wouldn't get along at all!)
