Dreaming

I was on Annie's blog and she was talking about how a dream inspired her for a book she is writing and I felt inspired to write a short poem about dreams.



Dreaming

I dream in color,

I dream of love,

I dream of laughter,

I dream of hope,

I dream of things I should not want,

I sometimes dream of those I've lost,

In dreams I want to reach the sky,

In dreams I need to be the one,

In dreams I see a future there isn't,

My dreams are a wondrous place I like to visit.
