A Weekend Full of Pain
I just found out a toothache could be a pain in your mouth and a pain in your pocketbook.First off, I dislike going the dentist or doctor for any reason.I hate needles,they give me the heebiegeebs(Its bad when I'm using words that usually don't come out of my mouth)but this weekend I was in pain,I had to eat very carefully.I couldn't even enjoy my meals,I kept thinking about how much it hurt to eat that I couldn't taste my food. ( I even had some chocolate and wasn't able to enjoy it :( )I finally went into the dentist office this morning to have them see what going on and they tell me I need a root canal and its going to cost me some dollars that I don't have at the moment(family budget doesn't leave room for much) so the dentist sends me off with some pain medicine and I got to go next week to get a needle stuck in my mouth. Does anyone know of any spiritual ritual that will make my tooth better?

Ack, I'm sorry, Danette.
Oh man! I'm so sorry to hear that! I know exactly how much pain those darn toothaches can cause. I had to have oral surgery last year right around Thanksgiving. It took over a month just to get into the os because he was so booked. I hope you get to feeling better and use LOTS of orajel, it may take a ton of it, and it tastes horrible, but it does help some!
Orajel is glued to me for the next week, that and sesodyne *g*
Ouch! You know it's bad when you can't even enjoy chocolate! I hope you get it resolved soon!
I did bake me a cake tonight to compensate, it was the moist yellow cake with whipped cream,it melted in my mouth( I didn't have any chocolate frosting )
